Musings: Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney's Astrology Charts

So I found Amal Alamuddin's birthdate. I actually found it a day after doing George Clooney's chart, Let's hope this is the right one. Her birthtime is unknown therefore her Moon placement could shift.

A brief reading of her chart.

Amal Alamuddin's Natal Chart (Birthtime: unknown)

Sun at 15 Aquarius
Moon at 17 Sagittarius
Mercury at 29 Capricorn
Venus at 18 Aquarius
Mars at 27 Cancer
Jupiter at 27 Gemini
Saturn at 29 Leo
Uranus at 17 Scorpio
Neptune at 18 Sagittarius
Pluto at 17 Libra
North Node at 8 Libra

Chart Reading:
Amal has a Grand Air Trine with Sun-Venus, Jupiter and Pluto. A sign of self-expression, expansion and transformation. It is also a kite with Moon-Neptune at the apex. She is good at using her emotions/ideals to drive towards utilizing the above in her life but faces challenging aspect with Jupiter's expansion.

There is also a Yod between Jupiter, Saturn and Mercury. She struggles hard but eventually learns to overcome and uses her Mercury (communication) in making contributions in expansion/spirtuality or in authorities/responsibilities. I see this being tied with her being an attorney and fluent in 3 languages.

She has quite a beautiful chart.

I'll move on to synastry chart because that's where it gets really interesting.

Synastry Chart:

George's Sun-Mercury squares Amal's Sun-Venus
The two of them have Sun-Sun square. It spells fatal attraction at first meeting, one very impressed by his eloquence, the other impressed by her grace and beauty and confidence. However Sun-Sun square usually mean two egos being unable to stand each other after a while. As both of their Sun signs are in fixed signs, they are stubborn fellows where none refuse to back off.

George's Moon-Saturn conjuncts Amal's Mercury --- [A]
George's Mars conjuncts Amal's Mars --- [B]
Set [A] opposite Set [B]  (this is so "Maths")
George's Saturn-Moon is drawn to Alma's eloquence but he also wants to discipline her about it. As she is a lawyer (and her Yod), I think she is someone who is fine with handling authoritative figures so she's all good when dealing with George. However, they do have this Mars-Mars aspect. Mars-Mars conjunction would mean they have similarities in goals and sex. Since it is at the same spot directly opposite set [A], the Mars opposition energy is what both of them are familiar with, but it doesn't mean it doesn't frustrate them.

George feels the need to discipline whenever it comes to her communication, and when Alma replies perhaps not to his liking, his Mars opposition would trigger an anger response. A Mars-Mars conjunction here would burn and spread quickly since both are at the same point. George's Mars is in Leo while Alma's Mars is in Cancer. Cancer Mars can be passive aggressive when angered, inviting the roaring Leo Mars to pounce all over again.

As both are eloquent and expressive speakers, I can imagine a strong verbal argument to go on. I mean, you have to expect that if you are dating or marrying an attorney.

George's Venus, Amal's Moon-Neptune, George's Uranus form a Grand Fire Trine.
Amal's Sun-Venus is at the apex of the kite.
George's Pholus conjuncts Amal's Sun-Venus
The Grand Fire Trine or Kite is a great aspect, which suggests his love and her ideals/emotions and his unexpectness/originality work harmoniously together. Alma would be in the driver seat, driving it all together using her confidence/love/grace. George's Pholus there actually means that that's his turning point. Indeed her appearance in his life is his turning point. It made him change his mind about marriage.

George's Sun-Mercury square his Uranus
George's Venus trine his Uranus
Amal's Sun -Venus square her Uranus
In synastry,
George's Sun-Mercury opposite Amal's Uranus
Amal's Sun-Venus opposite George's Uranus
There's a lot of Uranus energy going on here. Both want to be free in different aspects. Alma prefers a less constraining relationship where she doesn't feel tied down. George wants to self-express himself in a rebellious manner. In the relationship, that's probably what draws them together. Uranus is also linked to humanitarian matters. It describes their passion which binds their relationship too, which is fighting for human rights.

Amal's Eros conjuncts George's Juno
Amal's passion triggers George's interest in making a commitment towards this relationship.

George's Pallas conjuncts Alma's Pholus-Persephone
George's Pluto-North Node conjuncts Amal's Proserpina-Saturn
In my previous entry, I talked about Pallas activation. Sure enough, George's Pallas is activated conjuncting Alma's Pholus (the turning point). His Pallas sense the potential in her.

In mythology, Perserphone/Proserpina was the maiden that got kidnapped by Hades (Pluto) from her controlling mother and got transformed to be Queen of the Underworld. Amal's Pholus-Persephone conjunction could imply she's someone waiting for a person to swoop her up and develop her to her fullest potential. Meeting George Clooney was probably unexpected as he is not someone from her circle. As it is also in Pisces, it could imply she's getting over dreamy about this handsome guy she has been dreaming all her life. Maybe she has a secret interest in getting into Hollywood. Who knows.

The Pluto-Proserpina conjunction and overall theme is pretty strong in their synastry. A binding transformational relationship. Maybe George tranforms her to be "Hollywood-ready" or ready in the public's eye. George's North Node conjuncts her Proserpina would suggest her transformation would indeed bring him much further. She could possibly be the one boosting his image and further aiding him towards his passion in human rights

There's more but I'll stop here.

Is this love?

I think it is, but more of a goal-driven kind of love.

On a second look, I realize in synastry, there is a Grand Fixed Cross. Grand Cross usually means really very challenging aspect with lots of energy. Personally, I don't like the fixed cross because it is rigid and not flexible. I picture lots of arguments again over freedom given in the relationship and individuality. Well, as they have the transformational theme going in their chart, there is a possibility it could work out. But it would involving breaking a lot of their old habits and restrictions to accommodate, in particular I think it would be George Clooney's.

Musings: George Clooney Finally Committing?

So George Clooney is finally getting married... or going to.

Astrologers are all scrambling for the astrology chart of Amal Alamuddin.

I can't find her chart, or her birth date. But it doesn't matter.

The question is can George Clooney commit, or rather why didn't he commit earlier or why did he commit this time? I decide to take a peek at his chart. It is pretty telling.

George Clooney's Natal Chart (Birthtime: 2.58 a.m)

Sun at 16 Taurus
Moon at 28 Capricorn
Mercury at 21 Taurus
Venus at 14 Aries
Mars at 1 Leo
Jupiter at 7 Aquarius
Saturn at 30 Capricorn
Uranus at 22 Leo
Neptune at 10 Scorpio
Pluto at 6 Virgo
North Node at 4 Virgo

Chart Reading:

George has an incomplete Grand Cardinal Cross. Several T-squares going on.

Sun conjunct Mercury Taurus
That makes him a charismatic speaker, probably humourous too.

Moon conjunct Saturn in Capricorn
Moon-Saturn conjunct Jupiter
Moon represents the mother and the woman in his life. A Moon-Saturn conjunction shows that his mother played an authoritative role in his upbringing. He grew up to be a very disciplined and responsible person, somewhat very rigid in his beliefs. In a woman, he would want someone he can "father" over as the moon here is hardly nurturing. He would be particular over how things get done. The aspect turns out to be harsher since it is also in Capricorn and conjuncting Jupiter (expansion). Capricorn Moons aren't advised to marry until they are much older. George Clooney got married to Talia Balsam in 1989 after a short courtship and it ended up in divorce in 1993. He just wasn't ready, and when it failed, he took it harder on himself that marriage wasn't his thing and he shouldn't be ruining people with it (except he ruined people in another way without knowing).

Venus in Aries
Venus in Aries would explain why he falls in love with so many women so easily.

Mars opposite Moon-Saturn-Jupiter
The Mars opposition explains a lot of things. Sex, to him, is totally in opposition to his emotions. The point opposite to Saturn is also the point to relieve Saturn's karma, the point of freedom. Basically that "stellium" points him to his Mars whenever he wants to escape his emotional duties and responsibilities. He will have an inclination to have a rovering eye even when he is in a relationship with someone. His Mars is also in the 5th house, house of creativity and romance. There is an urge to escape and seek new romances/excitement/projects because he gets too bored "parenting" his partner.

I got bored so moving on to asteroid reading.

Neptune-Eros squaring the Moon-Saturn and Mars opposition
Eros conjunct Neptune in Scorpio sounds like a great aspect for actors to have. Very passionate and dreamy in pulling off characters. It's very telling where his sexual magnetism onscreen comes from. With it squaring Moon-Saturn and Mars opposition, in the 8th house and also in Scorpio, it actually sounds a little naughty yet challenging. I think sexual fantasies come into play. I shall not go into details.

I read through his biography and after reading he's a Roman Catholic, I had to plug in asteroid Priapus.

Sure enough...

Priapus conjunct Moon-Saturn
The Priapus point is much debated but I'll stick it my way. The Priapus point is where you feel helpless and repressed and you'll hate it when people disturb you at that point. George has it exactly on his Moon-Saturn point, which will just make him harder on himself.

Interestingly, I found out Talia Balsam's Moon conjuncts George's Moon in synastry. So even when he has this great Moon-Moon conjunction with her, the Saturn and Priapus on top of her Moon makes it harder for him as he felt bounded by duties and also hated losing (perhaps for not doing good enough) when he sensed things weren't working out in their marriage. As a strict Roman Catholic, his views towards marriage would also be stricter than a normal being so a part of him would have felt that he failed terribly after the first marriage. This is also why he was very against marriage after the first.

I also sense "heavy karma" in his chart.

Asteroid Karma-Chiron-Juno conjunct South Node (12H)
Pluto conjunct North Node
Karma-Chiron conjuncting South Node in the 12th house suggests past karmic wounds holding him back. There are unseen wounds due to the 12H nature. With Juno there, it suggests commitment could be the issue. He uses it and transforms himself using Pluto towards his North Node in 6th house (Virgo), focusing through his work and service. This could explain his interest in humanitarian work and being a political activist.

Asteroid Atlantis conjunct Kaali
Asteroid Atlantis square Uranus (exact)
I'm not sure how to go from here but it suggests strong Kundalini power related to a past Atlantean life. In fact, he might even be aware of it due to the Uranus trigger. Again, heavy "Atlantis" karma is emphasized.

I actually googled and found his birthdate close to the premiere of an "Atlantis" movie. Pretty hilarious. I'm starting to think the girls in his life are related to him in his past life (so many...) so they meet again in this life to claim back karmic debt and he kept repeating his mistakes.

Final Reading:

So can George Clooney commit?

Saturn/Capricorn-heavy charts treat themselves harshly when they are younger and eventually learn to chill out as they get older. At his age, he should be done learning and relearning lessons from his Saturn. It's about time he took it easy.

And is Amal the right woman for her?

I don't have her chart but I did use a name asteroid. Asteroid Alma (which means soul in Spanish) would represent Amal right.....?

Asteroid Alma isn't doing much on his chart. Alma is on his first house so she makes him feel good about himself.

George has Pallas conjunct Ascendent. Pallas refers to creative intelligence, which makes him a good adviser in the political scene.

Probably unfair reading here but the closeness of Pallas to Alma (it's not really close to be honest), makes me think he's picking someone he thinks is good enough for him in his mind. Which means, for his goals/ future endeavors.

( I found out later there are other "Amal" asteroids. But the reading is generally similar as 2 are in 1st house, 1 is actually conjuncting his North Node.)

If you compare Amal to the other girls he've dated, you will realize the other girls are vastly different from her. The past girls he had dated are either Hollywood stars or supermodels. George's Juno-Pallas midpoints falls on his Ascendent (exact). Perhaps the reason he never committed just might be he didn't date the "right" girl, for the "right" girl he wants to commit officially enough to marry is someone to match up with him in the form of "Pallas" intellect.

But is this love?

I've always found how Pallas picks partners to be interesting. It isn't 100% love as it is what I call "picking someone who is right for you". And the "right person" here usually means in the eyes of the public.

Perhaps, with new goals in mind, he finds it is the right time to pick the "right person" to marry.

But until I see her chart, this is just speculation. I do however think there is Pallas activation in their synastry.

Musings: Why Leonardo DiCaprio Didn't Win the Oscars

My TV/social media is bursting with news on how Leonardo DiCaprio didn't win an Oscar for his performance in "The Wolf of Wall Street".

I didn't watch it. But I've always thought he's an excellent actor based on past movies.

Let's do a reading. Except I really can't read much today.

Leonardo asteroid (used as Name Asteroid) is close to Saturn today. And Saturn had just turned retrograde today as if it is coming back for his Name Asteroid.

"Saturn is the Lord of Karma. Retrograde motion is a time when karma is sorted out. Therefore Saturn retrograde 2014 is a double dose of karma. Before we get into this, we need to understand what this word means. Karma is a form of energy that is very real. Like Saturn, it is very closely bound to time. Past, present, and future blur into one. If we have been bad in the past, then at a certain predestined time, an event will occur to teach us a lesson. If we been good in the past, then at a predestined time, an event will occur to reward us for our good deeds." - Astrology King

I don't know much about Leonardo Dicaprio except he's a womanizer so maybe it's really reflection time for him to stop his partying ways.

Musings: Katy Perry's Dark Horse

I don't listen to the radio. Few days ago, I tried tuning in to catch a radio interview and the first song playing was Katy Perry's "Dark Horse".

Today, I caught a glimpse of a photo of her in "Dark Horse" music video as "Katy Patra". And then a preview video.

Really? Egyptian-themed?

I had to run the Egyptian asteroids for her.

- ISIS conjunct OSIRIS at 11 Virgo (left out of chart)

- BML (Black Moon Lilith) conjunct SPHINX at 5 Aries
An Egyptian Lilith perhaps. Who else but Cleopatra?

- KLEOPATRA conjunct Jupiter at 8 Capricorn
Funny how she's promoting Cleopatra through her music.

- APHRODITE at 3 Virgo
I included it because Aphrodite was in the song lyrics.

- KARMA conjunct SEKHMET/ATLANTIS at 3-4 SCORPIO
Quoted from iQ: You have very strong Karma from Atlantis, you have lived there. This indicates that you were a Star Seed in Ancient Atlantis with quite an impact, and hence have a big role to play in the coming years to help prevent humanity prevent the same mistakes.

- LOGOS conjunct HATHOR at 18 LEO

Sekmet is the Egyptian Lion Goddess - a warrior goddess and goddess of healing. She's responsible for protecting and serving justice.
Hathor is the Egyptian Goddess of love and fertility. Also known as Egyptian's Aphrodite.

And here are the lyrics
"Make me your Aphrodite, Make me your one and only
But don’t make me your enemy, your enemy, your enemy"

"She’s a beast, I call her Karma (come back)
She eats your heart out, Like Jeffrey Dahmer"

Crazy?

And now I feel the need to look at her past songs too, which I don't listen to enough. Maybe I should.
