Musings: George Clooney Finally Committing?

So George Clooney is finally getting married... or going to.

Astrologers are all scrambling for the astrology chart of Amal Alamuddin.

I can't find her chart, or her birth date. But it doesn't matter.

The question is can George Clooney commit, or rather why didn't he commit earlier or why did he commit this time? I decide to take a peek at his chart. It is pretty telling.

George Clooney's Natal Chart (Birthtime: 2.58 a.m)

Sun at 16 Taurus
Moon at 28 Capricorn
Mercury at 21 Taurus
Venus at 14 Aries
Mars at 1 Leo
Jupiter at 7 Aquarius
Saturn at 30 Capricorn
Uranus at 22 Leo
Neptune at 10 Scorpio
Pluto at 6 Virgo
North Node at 4 Virgo

Chart Reading:

George has an incomplete Grand Cardinal Cross. Several T-squares going on.

Sun conjunct Mercury Taurus
That makes him a charismatic speaker, probably humourous too.

Moon conjunct Saturn in Capricorn
Moon-Saturn conjunct Jupiter
Moon represents the mother and the woman in his life. A Moon-Saturn conjunction shows that his mother played an authoritative role in his upbringing. He grew up to be a very disciplined and responsible person, somewhat very rigid in his beliefs. In a woman, he would want someone he can "father" over as the moon here is hardly nurturing. He would be particular over how things get done. The aspect turns out to be harsher since it is also in Capricorn and conjuncting Jupiter (expansion). Capricorn Moons aren't advised to marry until they are much older. George Clooney got married to Talia Balsam in 1989 after a short courtship and it ended up in divorce in 1993. He just wasn't ready, and when it failed, he took it harder on himself that marriage wasn't his thing and he shouldn't be ruining people with it (except he ruined people in another way without knowing).

Venus in Aries
Venus in Aries would explain why he falls in love with so many women so easily.

Mars opposite Moon-Saturn-Jupiter
The Mars opposition explains a lot of things. Sex, to him, is totally in opposition to his emotions. The point opposite to Saturn is also the point to relieve Saturn's karma, the point of freedom. Basically that "stellium" points him to his Mars whenever he wants to escape his emotional duties and responsibilities. He will have an inclination to have a rovering eye even when he is in a relationship with someone. His Mars is also in the 5th house, house of creativity and romance. There is an urge to escape and seek new romances/excitement/projects because he gets too bored "parenting" his partner.

I got bored so moving on to asteroid reading.

Neptune-Eros squaring the Moon-Saturn and Mars opposition
Eros conjunct Neptune in Scorpio sounds like a great aspect for actors to have. Very passionate and dreamy in pulling off characters. It's very telling where his sexual magnetism onscreen comes from. With it squaring Moon-Saturn and Mars opposition, in the 8th house and also in Scorpio, it actually sounds a little naughty yet challenging. I think sexual fantasies come into play. I shall not go into details.

I read through his biography and after reading he's a Roman Catholic, I had to plug in asteroid Priapus.

Sure enough...

Priapus conjunct Moon-Saturn
The Priapus point is much debated but I'll stick it my way. The Priapus point is where you feel helpless and repressed and you'll hate it when people disturb you at that point. George has it exactly on his Moon-Saturn point, which will just make him harder on himself.

Interestingly, I found out Talia Balsam's Moon conjuncts George's Moon in synastry. So even when he has this great Moon-Moon conjunction with her, the Saturn and Priapus on top of her Moon makes it harder for him as he felt bounded by duties and also hated losing (perhaps for not doing good enough) when he sensed things weren't working out in their marriage. As a strict Roman Catholic, his views towards marriage would also be stricter than a normal being so a part of him would have felt that he failed terribly after the first marriage. This is also why he was very against marriage after the first.

I also sense "heavy karma" in his chart.

Asteroid Karma-Chiron-Juno conjunct South Node (12H)
Pluto conjunct North Node
Karma-Chiron conjuncting South Node in the 12th house suggests past karmic wounds holding him back. There are unseen wounds due to the 12H nature. With Juno there, it suggests commitment could be the issue. He uses it and transforms himself using Pluto towards his North Node in 6th house (Virgo), focusing through his work and service. This could explain his interest in humanitarian work and being a political activist.

Asteroid Atlantis conjunct Kaali
Asteroid Atlantis square Uranus (exact)
I'm not sure how to go from here but it suggests strong Kundalini power related to a past Atlantean life. In fact, he might even be aware of it due to the Uranus trigger. Again, heavy "Atlantis" karma is emphasized.

I actually googled and found his birthdate close to the premiere of an "Atlantis" movie. Pretty hilarious. I'm starting to think the girls in his life are related to him in his past life (so many...) so they meet again in this life to claim back karmic debt and he kept repeating his mistakes.

Final Reading:

So can George Clooney commit?

Saturn/Capricorn-heavy charts treat themselves harshly when they are younger and eventually learn to chill out as they get older. At his age, he should be done learning and relearning lessons from his Saturn. It's about time he took it easy.

And is Amal the right woman for her?

I don't have her chart but I did use a name asteroid. Asteroid Alma (which means soul in Spanish) would represent Amal right.....?

Asteroid Alma isn't doing much on his chart. Alma is on his first house so she makes him feel good about himself.

George has Pallas conjunct Ascendent. Pallas refers to creative intelligence, which makes him a good adviser in the political scene.

Probably unfair reading here but the closeness of Pallas to Alma (it's not really close to be honest), makes me think he's picking someone he thinks is good enough for him in his mind. Which means, for his goals/ future endeavors.

( I found out later there are other "Amal" asteroids. But the reading is generally similar as 2 are in 1st house, 1 is actually conjuncting his North Node.)

If you compare Amal to the other girls he've dated, you will realize the other girls are vastly different from her. The past girls he had dated are either Hollywood stars or supermodels. George's Juno-Pallas midpoints falls on his Ascendent (exact). Perhaps the reason he never committed just might be he didn't date the "right" girl, for the "right" girl he wants to commit officially enough to marry is someone to match up with him in the form of "Pallas" intellect.

But is this love?

I've always found how Pallas picks partners to be interesting. It isn't 100% love as it is what I call "picking someone who is right for you". And the "right person" here usually means in the eyes of the public.

Perhaps, with new goals in mind, he finds it is the right time to pick the "right person" to marry.

But until I see her chart, this is just speculation. I do however think there is Pallas activation in their synastry.

Musings: The Sign of Three

The sign of three has always been important, but did you know the secret of it?

I first learnt of it while watching BBC's "Sherlock". In the original Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Dyle, the story was called "The Sign of Four". But in BBC's version, they wrote a new story and changed it to "The Sign of Three". In that episode (spoiler alert), the sign of three actually refers to Doctor Watson and his wife and the child she was pregnant with.

In Egyptian mythology, Osiris and Isis gave birth to Horus, the Sky God. They represent the sign of three. A family/royal lineage.

In Christianity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit represent the Holy Trinity. They would be the sign of three. The divine connection.

In Twinflame Studies, the two soulmates held together by the Divine One would be the sign of three. The divine union.

There are many other connections out there to be uncovered. And that triangle connection just can't be denied.

The sign of three exists in us too.

I realize I have three minds when it comes to learning astrology and the truth.

Moon represents the emotional mind ruled by feelings. It is what the heart and soul feels.

Mercury represents the analytical/logical mind. It is what the brains think.

and most importantly, Pallas.

Pallas refers to the pineal gland. It represents the third eye. It represents the intuitive mind that picks up information by our "sixth sense".

And when you use all three, you learn about the truth.

If you are reading this today, maybe there is a reason for you to learn about it.

Finding Atlantis Part 6: Mesopotamian Link

Similiarities of earlier Sumerian/Babylonian/Assyrian history with Plato's Atlantis

Structure and Purpose of the Temple of Poseidon

At a very early period - prior to 3000 BC - Nippur had become the centre of a political district of considerable extent. Inscriptions found at Nippur, where extensive excavations were carried on during 1888-1900 by Messrs Peters and Haynes, under the auspices of the University of Pennsylvania, show that Enlil was the head of an extensive pantheon. Among the titles accorded to him are "king of lands," "king of heaven and earth" and "father of the gods".

His chief temple at Nippur was known as E-kur, signifying 'House of the mountain', and such was the sanctity acquired by this edifice that Babylonian and Assyrian rulers, down to the latest days, vied with one another in embellishing and restoring Enlil's seat of worship, and the name Ekur became the designation of a temple in general.

Grouped around the main sanctuary, there arose temples and chapels to the gods and goddesses who formed his court, so that E-kur became the name for an entire sacred precinct in the city of Nippur. The name "mountain house" suggests a lofty structure and was perhaps the designation originally of the staged tower at Nippur, built in imitation of a mountain, with the sacred shrine of the god on the top.

Flooding (Judgement by Zeus on Bronze Age People)

(From Sumerian tablet called Eridu Genesis, dated around 2300 BC, Babylonian/Assyrian Atra-Hasis tablets dated 18th century BC)

According to the Sumerians, Enlil helped create the humans, but then got tired of their noise and tried to kill them by sending a flood.

"Enlil grew restless at their racket, he had to listen to their noise.
Enlil opened his mouth to speak and addressed the assembly of all the gods: 'The noise of mankind has become too much, I am losing sleep over their racket. Come now, let us all take an oath to bring a flood.'" (The Epic of Atra-Hasis)

Atrahasis (his name translates as `exceedingly wise') was warned of the impending deluge by the god Ea/Enki who instructed him to build an ark to save himself. Atrahasis heeded the words of the god, loaded two of every kind of animal into the ark, and so preserved human and animal life on earth.

Musings: Tracing Kepler

I heard a beautiful song about Kepler, sung by Stefanie Sun.

I looked it up and apparently the song is named after the Kepler's Supernova, a supernova in the Milky Way (Ophiuchius constellation) discovered by Johannes Kepler in 1604. Back then, the exploding star was so bright that it shone for 3 weeks.

Remnant of Kepler's Supernova (wiki)

The song lyrics is about how a star still wants to shine amidst all the darkness despite feeling like it's alone. Because by doing so, at least it radiates some light to other stars and they can in turn do so. And it reminds how people are the same that even though they are apart, they still radiate and remain connected like stars in the skies.

The song gives such a good feel. It seems to awaken consciousness.

***

In 1604, when the supernova exploded, it left people amazed by its brightness for 3 weeks. Johannes Kepler was a German mathematician, astronomer, astrologer back then. He did not believe the rumours when people had spotted the splendid sight since 9 October 1604. It was only till 17 October 1604 that he looked at it. Kepler then studied the star for more than a year, which led to huge advancement in the studies in astronomy, math and physics (and maybe astrology ;) ).

This is the chart for when Kepler first discovered the supernova on 17 October 1604.

Astrometria at 18 Scorpio
Astronautica at 15 Leo
Astronomia at 20 Aquarius
Astrowizard at 24 Libra

What's really interesting is how all the "Astro" asteroids are aspected.

Asteroid Kepler quincux Serendip
It shows Kepler's slightly less than enthusiastic attitude until he noticed his serendipitous find.

Sun conjunct Astrowizard at fixed star Spica/Arcturus
A very lucky astronomical find blessed by the 2 most fortunate stars.

Uranus opposite Mercury-Astrometria, squaring Moon-Astronautica
There were groundbreaking changes in teachings in astrometry after the event since the assumption made by Aristotle that celestial spheres were unchanging didn't hold anymore.

Asteroid Pholus conjunct Astronomia/Discovery
Asteroid Discovery opposite Astronautica
A turning point in astronomy, a discovery made towards astronautical travels (to the moon).

The T-square to Moon-Astronautica didn't make sense to me as space travel wasn't happening then but later I found out Kepler wrote a novel called Somnium (The Dream) in 1608 about travelling to the moon to look at how planets move from another perspective. How apt. It's very possible the book was inspired from the event, and his book inspired future generations of the idea of space travels.

Pluto conjunct South Node
North Node at 29 Libra
A powerful transformation of the past. The supernova explosion actually happened in the past before it was seen in 1604 since it takes around 20000 light years for the vision to travel to our planet.

The Sabian Symbol for North Node is "Mankind's vast enduring effort to reach for knowledge transferable from generation to generation."

***

On 17 April 2014, NASA revealed that its Kepler program, a mission to find Earth-size planets, had succeeded in finding the first validated, Earth-size planet called Kepler-186f. Kepler-186f orbits around a red dwarf.

The announcement was made at 2 p.m EDT.

Astrometria at 6 Capricorn
Astronautica at 13 Aries
Astronomia at 8 Cancer
Astrowizard at 5 Leo

There was a Grand Cardinal Cross between Mars, Pluto, Mercury-Uranus, Jupiter.

North Node at 29 Libra
Again, the same Sabian Symbol is spotted "Mankind's vast enduring effort to reach for knowledge transferable from generation to generation."

Asteroid Kepler conjunct Astronomia, opposite Astrometria, trine Neptune
Kepler's new achievement in his dreams in astronomy, and also astrometry

Vesta conjunct Interkosmos
A dedication towards bridging of worlds in the name of diplomacy

Jupiter conjunct Somnium at fixed star Sirius
Uranus conjunct Astronautica, squaring Jupiter-Somnium
An blazing expansion of a dream. Kepler's Somnium perhaps? ;)
A new challenging difficulty in space travels arises from it.

A Grand Water Trine between Serendip, Jupiter-Somnium, Venus-Chiron-Neptune
A serendipitous find in the expansion of our dreams. Bridging old wounds idealistically in the name of love for our survival.

Moon-Saturn squaring Venus-Neptune
There's an uncertainty about the idealism but emotions are bonded with responsibility.

A Kite between Jupiter, Saturn (weak), Chiron-Venus with Pluto at the apex.
Pluto conjunct Vertex
Pluto in the Grand Cardinal Cross
The apex point of a kite will fly the kite. Pluto, the planet of transformations, will be the driving force for resolving challenges ahead. Pluto is also in Capricorn, the dictator. But I remain unsure because of the grand cross involvement. It just seems hard to balance between the cross and the kite.

Asteroid Astrowizard conjunct BML in 12th house.
Does this mean an advancement in astronomy and space travel in its darkest relam? As BML can be so unpredictable, I can't figure this out exactly. And I don't like that it's in the 12th House. It just feels too much uncertainty over something I don't really understand.

I'm not sure if anyone is planning an expedition to Kepler-186f. It's very likely someone would but I remain apprehensive about it.

And I suppose this marks the starting age of locating habitable worlds outside of Earth.

Kepler's Dream.

Astrological Chart of Oscar Pistorius and Reeva Steenkamp

I didn't want to do this chart reading because of the similarities with someone. It scares me to think about it of whatever could have happened. But then I saw an astrologer who wrote about using asteroid Narcissus in their charts. I decided to take a second look at their charts using asteroids.

I know how Narcissus works when related to picking of partners but I don't think I've seen anyone write about it. And Pallas. I would go a little deeper if time permits.

Oscar Pistorius's Natal Chart (Birthtime: 10.30a.m)

Sun at 30 Scorpio
Moon at 4 Leo
Mercury at 14 Scorpio
Venus at 6 Scorpio
Mars at 28 Aquarius
Jupiter at 14 Pisces
Saturn at 11 Sagittarius
Uranus at 22 Sagittarius
Neptune at 5 Capricorn
Pluto at 7 Scorpio

Oscar's chart reeks of Scorponic intensity. His Sun sign is also in the last degree of Scorpio.
He has a lot of fixed signs squaring each other. I sense a lot of stubbornness from his chart.
He has a Venus-Pluto-Mercury conjunction in Scorpio. He can be quite the controlling, jealous lover.

Reeva Steenkamp's Natal Chart (Birthtime: unknown)

Sun at 26 Leo
Moon at 11 Capricorn
Mercury at 24 Virgo
Venus at 5 Virgo
Mars at 4 Leo
Jupiter at 2 Sagittarius
Saturn at 30 Libra
Uranus at 6 Sagittarius
Neptune at 27 Sagittarius
Pluto at 28 Libra

She has Sun and Mars in Leo. Her perfect man would be someone like a Leo, someone who loves being in the limelight and showy.
Her Mars is also squaring her Saturn-Pluto. She might not be the best at containing anger.

Asteroids Reading:

In Reeva's natal chart,
She has asteroid Karma conjunct Nessus-Valentine.
She has "abuse" karma. It can be positive, meaning she transcends by helping people with abusive tendencies. It can go negative, meaning she just keeps meeting the wrong guys and not knowing when to walk away.

She has asteroid Narcissus conjunct Mars.
Narcissus is the self-centered Greek God who's just obsessed with himself and rejects everyone. It can also mean self-love. It could mean she could be someone who's obsessed with achieving her personal goals (Mars) to point where it come off as selfish.

Reeva also has asteroid Apollo conjunct Venus.
Apollo is the Greek Sun God who's widely adored and idolized by many. In her chart, it could mean she expects to be loved and adored to the point where she thinks it is her right to have and might take it for granted. It could also mean she loves an "Apollo" man when aspected in synastry.

In Oscar's natal chart,
He has asteroid Apollo conjunct Psyche.
His soul craves to be an "Apollo", someone who's adored and worshipped by many. He would want that from his partner.

He has asteroid Nessus conjunct Atlantis.
I use Atlantis asteroid here differently, to mean "unfinished business" or "fight for power". This is where his Nessus can transcend from his past mistakes or just might go overboard losing his great power because he never learn.

Synastry Chart of Oscar Pistorius and Reeva Steenkamp

In the synastry chart, it is pretty telling.

Oscar's Moon conjuncts Reeva's Narcissus-Mars.
A Moon-Mars conjunction in synastry sounds like a great combination but not necessarily when it's a man's yin planet conjuncting a woman's yang planet.

In their case, Reeva's Narcissus did pick a partner that will make her feel better about herself and allow her to get further. But there's a sense of negligence on her part towards him because of Narcissus activation towards Oscar's feelings (Moon). When her concerns (more for herself) are not met, her anger can come through through her Mars, which again ends up hurting Oscar's feelings (Moon).

Oscar's Narcissus conjuncts Reeva's Saturn-Pluto.
In Oscar's chart, his Narcissus is however conjuncting Reeva's Saturn-Pluto, a sign of her trying hard to ground him. Everytime when he tries to love himself selfishly (perhaps through having fun and considering less of her feelings), Reeva's Saturn will speak up. It seems like an uncomfortable spot to be in considering

Oscar's Moon is also squaring Reeva's Saturn-Pluto.
Reeva's Mars is also squaring Reeva's Saturn-Pluto.
Picking up from here, I sense a disagreement between them going back and forth. In Saturn square aspects, whenever Saturn is enraged and shushed, it triggers in the square point, which would be Reeva's Mars and Oscar's Moon. Again it is just a recurring reminder making him feel that she comes across as loving herself more than caring for him.

Oscar's Nessus conjuncts Reeva's Apollo-Venus.
In synastry, whenever there's something conjuncting Apollo, the Apollo person feels adored. But a part of me thinks Apollo gets projected on the male figure in the relationship.

Nessus is usually linked to "abuse" but I think it can have multiple meanings, not necessarily violent. I prefer using it pertaining to power dynamics. So it could literally meaning physical fights, verbal squabbles, each trying to gain the upper hand (which is usually what you see in relationships).

Reeva's Apollo-Venus causes Oscar's Nessus to be triggered. Each time when he wants to gain the upper hand, Reeva's Apollo comes in demanding to be worshipped. It is their way of communication and loving. But this Apollo here could also mean there is just blind adoration love from her to Oscar. If Oscar is indeed really abusive, she might not be able to tell when he has crossed the line.

Oscar's Nemesis conjuncts Reeva's Chiron
Reeva's Pholus conjuncts Oscar's North Node
Whenever Reeva tries to heal his wounds, Oscar feels she is his nemesis who is bringing him pain. This in turn, inflicts pain on her.
Her turning point helps to bring him further, which in this case, is sadly true.

Oscar's Pan conjunct Reeva's Echo
In the myth, Pan pursued Echo but Echo ran away. He became so angry when she didn't return his love so he tore her into pieces. Gaia picked up remains of her body but left Echo's voice to echo on the face on the Earth.

Final Reading:

I don't think I can conclude whether Oscar killed Reeva intentionally based off charts.

People describe Oscar as a narcissist or as having "narcissistic personality disorder" but I just might call him an Apollo instead. An Apollo demands admiration/adoration from others while a Narcissus just loves and cares about himself without caring about others. Oscar's Narcissus isn't exactly conjuncting his Venus but then again his Scorpio stellium can possibly widen orbs for that asteroid to have some influence over it. Either that or his Narcissus asteroid could be conjuncting his MC.

Reeva's chart comes across stronger as having both "Narcissus" and "Apollo" influence.

I would say they are a couple, who's just obsessed with each other due to admiration for each other. They adore each other and love that they make each other look good. They have lethal planetary square aspects, which spell very strong attraction but that turns into a different story when enraged.

But an "Apollo" man isn't perfect. Apollo is that guy that wants you to adore him and only himself, and nothing else. If his girl shifts her attention to another man, it can really bring out his jealousy streak.

This could be where it goes wrong as Oscar does have a pretty strong jealous chart on its own. With a stellium squaring his moon, his controlling obsession towards his lover comes off strongly without him even knowing.

Based on the trials, Reeva's text message did reveal about her complaint of "double standards" that Oscar had for being jealous about his ex-boyfriend when Oscar had been associated with other women.

"We are living in a double standard relationship…every 5 seconds I hear how u dated another chick, you really have dated a lot of people, yet you get upset if I mention ONE funny story with a long term boyfriend."

"I do everything to make you happy and to not say anything to rock the boat with u."

I think here's what happened. It is similar to story of Echo and Pan.
In the story of Echo and Pan, even though they had common interests and complement each other, they couldn't align in terms of commitment because Echo was not supposed to marry whereas Pan wanted to. Since Pan couldn't have her, he destroyed her. Such a foolish story.

Oscar and Reeva were 2 people who think they love each other more than the other did love him/her back. They are also 2 stubborn people which neither knows when to back off during a fight. Each wanted his/her way and it causes rage to just build.

So what exactly happened on Valentine's Day? I cannot tell but based on asteroids, I think asteroid Valentine would get triggered in a way. Reeva's Valentine is conjuncting her Karma-Nessus. Surely, there was another squabble between them that night about their Valentine's where she wanted to gain the upper hand this time. There was perhaps the mention of another man that came up which would spur his jealousy or a breakup that hurt his Apollo ego. His judgement could have been clouded by his rage later on that night.

I actually like Echo and Pan. It's sad how befitting it is in this chart.

I do have this with someone.

I'd like to think better of people. Asteroids unearth a layer of the story. How things play out really depend on free will.
